PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Two 18-year-olds, Jaxon Diaz-Tubito and Josemanuel Brizei, have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery outside a RaceTrac gas station on US Highway 1 in Port St. Lucie.

According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Two juvenile victims were filming social media content using cash they had just withdrawn from a nearby ATM when Diaz-Tubito, who was sitting in a nearby vehicle, motioned them over.

Diaz-Tubito then brandished a semi-automatic handgun, and Brizei exited the vehicle carrying an AR-15 style rifle. The suspects demanded the victims’ money before fleeing the scene.

Deputies quickly located the suspects’ vehicle and conducted a search, recovering a fully loaded Glock 9mm handgun with a 30-round extended magazine and a Zastava Arms 7.62×39 rifle, also loaded with a 30-round magazine.

Both suspects are currently held without bond at the St. Lucie County Jail, with the investigation ongoing.
