On June 14, the Oxford Police Department responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at a local apartment complex.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim requiring medical attention. Authorities detained 27-year-old Javarus Henderson, a resident of Oxford, and charged him with Domestic Violence – Aggravated Assault.
Henderson was brought before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing following his arrest.
