NORTH HAVEN, Conn. — A Branford man has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $500,000 worth of equipment from a medical and surgical manufacturing facility in North Haven.
North Haven Police detectives launched an investigation in June after receiving a report of embezzlement. They identified 37-year-old Jason Sabo, who was employed at the facility, as the suspect.
Authorities say Sabo abused his purchasing authority to carry out the theft. On Friday, he was arrested and charged with first-degree larceny, computer crimes, and tampering with physical evidence.
The investigation remains ongoing as police gather more information.
