A 42-year-old man from Linden, Pennsylvania, Jason R. Yahn, was arrested in Chemung County on serious drug charges following a traffic stop on April 29.
Yahn was stopped on a motorcycle for various vehicle and traffic violations, including riding without a helmet. During the stop, officers discovered methamphetamine, cocaine, individual packaging materials, a scale, multiple cell phones, and a large amount of cash.
As a result, Yahn was arrested on two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the third degree (Class B felony), and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree (Class D felony). The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division assisted with processing the incident.
After being arraigned in the Town of Horseheads Court, Yahn was released and instructed to appear in court at a later date.
