Jarrod Mitchell Arrested in Bryant Triple Homicide

Charged with killing parents and sister off Zuber Road

BRYANT, AR — The Bryant Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with a triple homicide discovered near a middle school off Zuber Road.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Bryant officers, along with Saline County Sheriff’s deputies, apprehended 34-year-old Jarrod Mitchell. He had been identified as a person of interest early in the investigation.

Mitchell is accused of murdering his parents and sister. The bodies were discovered earlier that day inside a residence in the Benjamin Grove subdivision, not far from Zuber Road.

Authorities confirmed that Mitchell will be transported to the Saline County Detention Center, where he faces three counts of first-degree murder.

The Bryant Police Department released a statement acknowledging the arrest and ongoing investigation, though no motive has yet been made public.
