Davenport, Iowa — Jaron Bailey-Harris, 18, of Rock Island, and Clevon Long, 22, of Atlanta, were arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a T-Mobile store in Davenport on May 6, where they reportedly robbed multiple victims at gunpoint.
According to criminal complaints, Davenport Police responded to the T-Mobile store at 3150 E. 53rd Street around 7:41 p.m. Upon arrival, they found that Bailey-Harris and Long had displayed a handgun and demanded victims empty their pockets. They stole wallets, keys, phones, and various mobile devices from the store. Surveillance footage from the store shows the suspects approaching victims, taking their belongings, and removing devices from the shelves.
Police later recovered the handgun used in the robbery, and Long admitted to the crime during a post-Miranda interview. He was also found in possession of two sets of keys to the victims’ vehicles.
Bailey-Harris has been charged with five counts of felony first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit a forcible felony, and an interstate detainer from Rock Island County related to a previous stolen car/missing child case. He is being held at the Scott County Jail without bond, awaiting his first court appearance.
Long faces similar charges, including five felony counts of first-degree robbery and felony conspiracy. He is being held at the Scott County Jail on a cash-only bond of $100,000, pending an initial court hearing.
