PRICEVILLE, Ala. – A Tuscaloosa man, Jared Shamar Jennings, 23, was arrested early Sunday morning on multiple drug trafficking charges following a traffic stop on I-65 southbound near mile marker 331, according to Priceville Police.
At around 2 a.m., officers pulled over Jennings’ vehicle and initiated an investigation that led to the discovery of:
Multiple packaged quantities of marijuana
Over a pound of synthetic narcotics and THC concentrate
Various drug paraphernalia
A stolen firearm
Authorities also confirmed that Jennings is currently on federal probation for previous firearms-related offenses.
Jennings was booked into the Morgan County Jail without incident and is facing the following charges:
Trafficking in dangerous drugs
First-degree unlawful possession of marijuana
Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia
Second-degree receiving stolen property
His bond status is currently pending a review by a Morgan County Circuit Judge due to his federal probation.
