Topeka Couple Arrested for Drug Possession After Trespassing Report
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A Topeka couple was arrested Sunday, September 20, after Jackson County deputies responded to a trespassing complaint involving a suspicious vehicle.
At around 9 p.m., deputies were called to the area of 238th and T. Road, where a Ford pickup truck was reported to be backed into a tree line on private property.
Deputies discovered two individuals inside the vehicle — Jamie Perron, 52, and Andrea Josephsen, 38, both of Topeka.
Upon investigation, deputies found illegal substances and drug paraphernalia in their possession. Both individuals were arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on multiple charges.
Jamie Perron faces charges of:
Possession of methamphetamine
Possession of THC
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Criminal trespassing
Andrea Josephsen faces charges of:
Possession of methamphetamine
Possession of a hallucinogenic drug
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Criminal trespassing
The investigation is ongoing.
