Jamie Brookover Arrested for Alleged Meth Trafficking in WV

Parkersburg woman caught in controlled drug purchase

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – A Parkersburg woman, Jamie Brookover, was arrested on December 29 after allegedly trafficking methamphetamine in a controlled drug buy.

According to the Major Crimes Task Force, a controlled purchase of methamphetamine was conducted at 700 Pike St. in Marietta, Ohio. Brookover allegedly exchanged approximately 92 grams of methamphetamine with an undercover officer in exchange for U.S. currency.

Following the transaction, law enforcement approached Brookover’s vehicle, where she was seated in the driver’s seat with a female passenger. Both were detained, and a search revealed the U.S. currency used in the controlled purchase on Brookover’s person.

Brookover was arrested and charged with second-degree felony possession and trafficking of drugs.
