James Sigler, 43, the Executive Director of Admissions at Dickinson State University, was arrested by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) on charges of possessing child sexual abuse materials.
Witnesses on the DSU campus reported seeing Sigler being taken into custody on Monday. University officials later confirmed the arrest in a statement, identifying the individual as an employee of the institution.
The BCI is leading the ongoing investigation into Sigler’s alleged actions. He appeared in court for the first time on Wednesday, facing three felony charges related to the possession of explicit materials.
