James Randall Bolden Arrested in Huntsville on Human Trafficking, Drug Trafficking, and Statutory Rape Charges

HPD discovers teen victim, meth, fentanyl, and firearms during targeted investigation in Huntsville hotel room.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A Huntsville man is facing multiple felony charges after police discovered a teen victim and a large quantity of narcotics during a coordinated investigation at a local hotel.

The Huntsville Police Department (HPD), with help from its Anti-Crime Team, Special Victims Unit, and Community Relations Officers, located the hotel room where they made contact with James Randall Bolden. Inside, they found a teen girl, more than 175 grams of methamphetamine, fentanyl, two firearms, and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation revealed that Bolden had been supplying drugs to the underage victim and was also engaging in sexual activity with her.

Bolden was arrested and booked into the Madison County Jail on numerous serious charges, including:

Human trafficking

Statutory rape

Trafficking methamphetamine

Possession of a controlled substance

Additional related offenses

Police say the case is still under active investigation, and more charges could be filed as it develops.
