James Napoleon Arrested After Incident at Calvert Hospital

Charged with assault, trespassing, and resisting arrest

PRINCE FREDERICK, MD — On Saturday, June 7, 2025, Deputy First Class (DFC) Hudson responded to a report of a disorderly individual at Calvert Health Medical Center, located at 100 Hospital Road.

Upon arrival, deputies encountered James Nathaniel Napoleon, 45, with no fixed address, who was reportedly refusing to leave hospital property. According to the complainant, Napoleon had become aggressive toward security staff, making obscene gestures, shouting profanities, and behaving in a threatening manner.

Deputies attempted to remove Napoleon from the premises, but he became physically combative, allegedly swinging and spitting at officers, including once inside the patrol vehicle.

Despite actively resisting arrest, Napoleon was taken into custody and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center.

He now faces the following charges:

Trespassing: Private Property

Failure to Obey a Lawful Order

Disorderly Conduct

Second-Degree Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer

Disturbing the Peace

Resisting Arrest

No injuries to law enforcement officers were reported during the incident.
