Cullman County, AL — A Cullman County man, James Lee Lovelace, 42, was arrested on a slew of serious drug and theft charges following a search warrant execution in the Crane Hill community.
According to the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, investigators discovered a substantial cache at the residence where Lovelace was located. Seized items included multiple firearms, stolen property, drug paraphernalia, and various types of narcotics.
Lovelace faces a litany of charges, including:
Two counts of Drug Trafficking
Possession of opium or derivative
Three counts of Receiving Stolen Property ($1,500 or more)
Illegal possession of prescription drugs
Drug paraphernalia
Two counts of Possession of Cocaine
Possession of Marijuana (2nd Degree)
Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry praised the work of his team:
“This search warrant was a culmination of a tremendous amount of work by our Investigators. I am proud of their tenacity and determination to see this through. This is a major victory for the Sheriff’s Office, the victims involved, and all the citizens of Cullman County.”
James Lee Lovelace is currently held at the Cullman County Detention Center on a $1,020,800 bond.
