Police identified the suspect as 36-year-old Jalil Cox. The theft occurred in August, when Cox and two others reportedly took two Dyson vacuums valued at $1,399.98.

Cox was later arrested by Hamden police and transferred into the custody of South Windsor police. He now faces charges of fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny.
