Jalgaon police have arrested two key suspects, Aakash Sapkale and Karan Chandrashekhar Patil, in connection with the November 9 murder of Akash Koli (29) in the Kanchan Nagar area.

The arrests were made around 12:30 AM on Wednesday by Shanipeth police. Inspector Kaveri Kamalkar stated, “A third suspect, Vicky Chaudhary, was arrested by the Local Crime Branch (LCB) shortly after the incident. The court has remanded Sapkale and Patil into seven days of police custody.”

Sapkale, a history-sheeter on police records, had been externed from the city for two years but reportedly sneaked back into Jalgaon around 10:15 PM on November 9, shortly before the murder occurred.

Investigation continues as police work to uncover further details of the crime and the involvement of other possible associates.
