Officers intercepted a Tata Tiago car, discovering the synthetic drugs inside. The accused were identified as Tarun Singh (29) of Shanti Nagar, Lokendra Singh (26) of Majdoor Nagar, and Prashant Sharma (32) of Vaishali Nagar. The vehicle used in transporting the contraband was also seized.
A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Transport Nagar police station. During questioning, the suspects admitted to sourcing the drugs from Faridabad, Haryana, allegedly through a Nigerian national.
Prakash added that the crime branch is intensifying its crackdown on synthetic drug networks in Jaipur, aiming to dismantle supply chains and identify both local distributors and interstate connections. Investigations are ongoing to trace the financial trail, supply routes, and additional links, with further arrests expected.
