COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A 19-year-old man with multiple felony warrants was arrested Thursday evening after Colorado Springs police identified and recovered a stolen motorcycle.

The arrest occurred around 7:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Weston Road, near the intersection of South Circle Drive and Hancock Expressway. According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers had earlier spotted the stolen motorcycle near East Fountain Boulevard and South Chelton Road.

The rider, later identified as Jacob Rusnic, was wanted on several felony warrants, including motor vehicle theft. Police also noted that Rusnic was out on bond for a domestic violence case at the time of the arrest.

CSPD detectives conducted surveillance that led them to Rusnic’s location on Weston Road, where he was taken into custody without incident. He was transported to the Criminal Justice Center and now faces an additional charge of motor vehicle theft.
