Jacob Cummins Arrested for Auto Theft in Vicksburg

19-year-old charged in connection with stolen Nissan Altima

VICKSBURG, Miss. – Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department arrested Jacob Cummins, 19, on Wednesday, August 12, in connection with the theft of a 2012 Nissan Altima from the Beechwood Park Apartments on Sunday, August 9.

Cummins appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court, where his bond was set at $15,000, and he was bound over to the Warren County grand jury.

Unrelated Business Burglary
In a separate incident, officers responded to Pendleton Quick Lube at 3420 Halls Ferry Road on Tuesday morning following a reported burglary. The business owner reported that someone broke in overnight, stealing an impact drill, a computer reader, and cash from the register.

Authorities are investigating both cases and encourage anyone with information to contact Vicksburg Police Department.
