Jacob Baratto Charged with Burglary in Ballston

Stephentown man arrested for unlawful entry and theft

BALLSTON, NY — Jacob Baratto, 27, from Stephentown, has been charged with burglary and grand larceny following a disturbance call in Ballston, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Officers responded to the call at Currie Court on Thursday at 9:28 AM, leading to Baratto’s arrest. He is accused of knowingly entering and unlawfully remaining inside a residence with intent to commit a crime and stealing a cellular phone from the home.

Baratto was arraigned in Ballston Town Court and released to pretrial services pending further court proceedings.
