Jaclyn McCord, a 41-year-old woman from El Granada, was arrested on Dec. 3 after she was caught stealing a shopping cart full of items from a retail store in Colma. The stolen merchandise included power tools, LED lights, holiday decorations, T-shirts, socks, and an inflatable Grinch, totaling approximately $800.87.
McCord was detained by store loss prevention officers and later arrested by Colma police for shoplifting. She was issued a citation for the charges and released with a promise to appear in court.
