Versailles, Ill. – A drug raid conducted by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and the West Central Illinois Task Force led to the arrest of 23-year-old Jack O. Flachs on multiple drug charges.
Authorities launched an investigation after receiving reports of illegal activity at 101 S. Chestnut in Versailles, Illinois. After gathering sufficient evidence, the Brown County State’s Attorney secured a search warrant from the Brown County Circuit Judge on Monday.
On Tuesday afternoon, law enforcement officers executed the warrant and uncovered a large-scale drug operation. Among the seized items were:
THC raw cannabis – 11.69 pounds (5,304 grams)
THC wax – 92 pounds (41,978 grams)
THC vapes – 39 pounds (17,845 grams)
Psilocybin mushrooms – 9.4 pounds (4,282 grams)
Psilocybin powder – 1.3 pounds (591 grams)
THC edibles – 26.3 pounds (11,948 grams)
Additionally, authorities confiscated approximately $18,600 in cash, two firearms, a 2019 GMC Acadia, drug paraphernalia, and packaging equipment.
Flachs was taken into custody and booked into the Schuyler County Jail in Rushville. A female occupant of the residence was released at the scene, though criminal charges against her are pending.
