Jaaylan Jordan Arrested for Fraud in Pitt County

Greenville man faces three felony financial crime charges

A Greenville man, Jaaylan Jordan, 23, is being held without bond after being charged with multiple financial crimes by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.

Jordan faces three felony charges:

Uttering a forged instrument

Identity theft

Obtaining property by false pretense

According to arrest warrants, the alleged crimes date back to September 2025. Investigators claim Jordan created a forged check drawn on TowneBank and passed it to JP Morgan Chase Bank. Additionally, Jordan allegedly used another person’s debit card information to make unauthorized purchases at a Speedway.

Jordan is currently held at the Pitt County Jail without bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for March 2, 2026.
