A Manteo man, Isaac Moore, 33, was arrested early Monday morning after deputies seized drugs and a firearm during a home search on Roanoke Island.
According to the Dare County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted the search around 1 a.m. after detecting the odor of marijuana on the property.
Moore faces several charges, including:
Felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance
Felony possession of a firearm by a felon
Possession of marijuana greater than 0.5 to 1.5 ounces
Simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance
He was transported to the Dare County Jail and is being held under a $10,000 secured bond. The Manteo Police Department assisted in the investigation.
