In a series of coordinated raids across Jammu region’s Samba, Kathua, and Udhampur districts on Tuesday, police arrested four interstate drug peddlers, including a juvenile, and seized narcotic substances.
Among those arrested was Amarish Kumar, a resident of Piparpanti Koila Khagaria in Bihar, apprehended in the Ramgarh area of Samba district. Police recovered 1.6 kg of ganja from his possession, officials confirmed.
The arrests are part of ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the Jammu region. Police continue to investigate the network involved in the illegal narcotics trade.
