Detectives and prosecutors have identified India Comer, a 17-year-old girl, as one of the suspects in a shooting incident in Miami-Dade’s Naranja neighborhood. She now faces adult felony charges, including attempted murder.
Shooting Incident in Naranja
According to Miami-Dade detectives, Comer and two others allegedly fired shots at 17-year-old Christian Moss and his 15-year-old cousin while they were walking near Southwest 262 Lane and 138 Court on November 30, 2024.
Surveillance footage captured one of the shooters shouting before opening fire:
“That’s Big B! Let’s Glock … him!”
Moss and his cousin ran home after the attack. Moss didn’t realize he had been shot until noticing blood dripping from his arm. He was later treated at Jackson South Medical Center and survived.
Evidence and Investigation
ShotSpotter technology detected 15 gunshots, and authorities recovered 10 spent 9mm bullet casings from the scene.
During the investigation, deputies raided a townhome on Southwest 138 Court in December, seizing two firearms and ammunition.
Cordarrius Lee, 20, was arrested at the residence and charged with attempted murder. Surveillance footage reportedly shows Comer, Lee, and a third suspect firing weapons before returning to the townhome.
Authorities re-arrested Comer and Lee on January 31 after receiving ballistic reports from The National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) linking them to the shooting.
Adult Court Charges and Upcoming Trial
Miami-Dade prosecutors filed adult felony charges against Lee on February 1 and Comer on Monday. They both face:
First-degree attempted murder with a weapon
Aggravated assault with a firearm
Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Comer was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Tuesday afternoon after her case was transferred from juvenile court.
Both Comer and Lee will appear before Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Christine Hernandez, with Comer’s arraignment scheduled for April 7 at 9 a.m.
