The Kapurthala police arrested two men, Inderjit Singh and Kishan Singh, from Fagrawal village after recovering a significant quantity of intoxicating tablets from them under the NDPS Act.
During a routine patrol near Fagrawal village, the police team noticed two youths approaching on foot. When the suspects spotted the police, they tried to flee but were quickly caught. A search of the suspects led to the recovery of 97 intoxicating tablets.
Both individuals have been taken into custody for further investigation, and police are continuing efforts to curb drug-related activities in the area.
