Hyderabad Police Arrest Two in Rs21.5 Lakh Cyber Fraud Cases

Malleshappagari Prabhakar held for Rs20 lakh online betting scam

The cybercrime wing of Hyderabad police arrested two individuals involved in separate cyber fraud cases that cheated residents of a total Rs21.5 lakh on Saturday.

In the first case, 30-year-old Malleshappagari Prabhakar, a resident of Chandanagar, was arrested for his involvement in an online betting scam. He duped a Hyderabad man of Rs20.08 lakh by luring him into fraudulent betting activities through digital platforms.

The police are investigating the second case and further details are awaited.
