n a major breakthrough, the Jeedimetla police arrested Begari Venu Kumar, a notorious house burglar, who is believed to have been involved in more than 30 burglary cases across the Cyberabad Commissionerate. The police successfully recovered stolen property worth Rs11.5 lakh during the arrest.
The accused, Venu Kumar (26), an auto driver from Suraram in Quthbullapur mandal, was tracked down through a detailed investigation. Police officials utilized footage from 160 CCTV cameras, technical surveillance, and a thorough examination of the known offenders’ database to identify and apprehend him.
Venu Kumar is suspected to have been active in a series of house burglaries, targeting residences across the Hyberabad area. His ability to evade arrest for so long has made him a notorious figure among local authorities.
The police continue to investigate if Kumar was involved in any other unreported crimes in the region, with plans to gather more evidence based on the seized property.
