Authorities in Winston County, Alabama, arrested Hunter Garrett and Macie Kimbrough on Friday following a search warrant execution that led to the seizure of large quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, as well as stolen firearms.
Multi-Agency Operation Leads to Arrests
The Winston County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Haleyville Police Department and the Bear Creek Police Department, executed the warrant at the suspects’ residence. The operation stemmed from intelligence provided by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and its deputies.
During the search, authorities uncovered:
Trafficking amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamine, including raw fentanyl and 199 fentanyl pills
Distribution amounts of cocaine
Other narcotics
Two stolen firearms and additional weapons
Cash linked to narcotics trafficking
Suspects in Custody
Both Garrett and Kimbrough were taken into custody at the scene and are currently being held at the Winston County Jail.
Authorities continue to investigate the case, and additional charges may be forthcoming.
