HONEY GROVE, Texas — Police in Honey Grove have arrested a man in connection with the death of a woman at a local residence, authorities said.
Landon Ball faces charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officers responded to a medical call on Pecan Street, where they discovered a woman deceased inside the home.
Police found Ball in a bedroom holding a knife and sustaining self-inflicted wounds. He was subsequently booked into the Fannin County Jail with a bond exceeding $1 million.
The investigation is ongoing.
