BROOKHAVEN, Ga. — Three men have been taken into custody following a suspected gang-related shooting that claimed the lives of two people at a Brookhaven apartment complex.
Police identified the suspects as Alexander Galvez Hernandez, Kenner Davila-Meza, and Jaciel Ozuna-Valente. The arrests stem from a deadly incident that occurred on March 22.
Officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of North Cliff Valley Way at approximately 11:20 p.m. after reports of gunfire in the area. When they arrived, they discovered one victim deceased inside a vehicle, while a second victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Authorities confirmed the victims were a 17-year-old male and a 20-year-old man. Their identities have not yet been released.
Investigators believe the shooting was a targeted attack linked to rival gang activity. All three suspects are now facing charges including murder and gang-related offenses.
Officials have not yet determined what led to the confrontation or how many individuals were involved in the exchange of gunfire. It is also unclear whether additional suspects may still be at large.
The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to gather more details about the incident.
