In a high-profile drug bust, Nallakunta Police in coordination with the Task Force arrested four individuals, including a software engineer and an architect, for alleged involvement in drug peddling. The operation led to the seizure of 1,380 grams of OG ganja and 44 LSD blots, collectively worth Rs1.40 crore.

The arrested individuals were identified as:

Harshvardan Shrivastava, a native of Madhya Pradesh

B Srinivasa Rahul, from Chennai

Abhishek, a software employee

Dhawal, an architect

According to Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes) Viswa Prasad, Harshvardan pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in Pune but discontinued his internship midway. In search of funds to launch a business, he turned to drug trafficking and allegedly connected with suppliers through Reddit forums and the dark web.

Police said the group procured high-grade OG ganja online and sold narcotics using encrypted communication platforms. The drugs were intended for distribution across tech circles and urban youth in Hyderabad.

All four have been taken into custody and booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Investigations are ongoing to identify further links in the trafficking network.
