Harman, Dimpi Among Five Booked for Mehatpur House Theft

Cash and jewellery stolen from Singhpur home on June 25

The Mehatpur police have registered a case against five individuals for allegedly stealing cash and jewellery from a residence in Singhpur village.

According to the police, the accused have been identified as Harman, Dimpi, and Kala, all residents of Singhpur, and Bunti, a resident of Pandori Khas. One accomplice remains unidentified.

The complaint was lodged by Bhupndar Singh of Singhpur village, who alleged that the accused broke into his house on June 25 and stole Rs26,000 in cash, along with gold and silver jewellery.

Police have registered an FIR and initiated investigations to trace and apprehend the culprits. Surveillance footage and local informants are being used to identify the unidentified suspect and recover the stolen valuables.
