GRANGER, Ind. (WSBT) — A woman has been arrested in connection with a house fire in Granger over the weekend. 50-year-old Hana Musleh is facing a preliminary charge of arson after investigators say she intentionally set the blaze.

Firefighters responded around 10 a.m. Sunday to a home in the 50000 block of Mercury Drive. No one was inside the house at the time, but authorities reported signs indicating the fire was likely deliberately set.

Musleh was quickly identified as a suspect. She was taken to a local hospital for injuries believed to have been sustained during the fire.

Following treatment, Musleh was placed under arrest and is now being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
