A 32-year-old habitual offender, Shaik Saddam Hussain, was arrested by the South-East Zone Task Force and Humayun Nagar police for attempting to sell a stolen gold chain worth Rs1.7 lakh.
Hussain, involved in several theft cases, was caught red-handed while trying to offload the valuable gold chain. The authorities have now taken him into custody, and investigations are underway.
