Sajid had a previous theft case in Gurugram, while Deepak had been linked to three theft cases in Palwal. Police recovered an inverter, a battery, two mobile phones, and cash from the arrested individuals.

In another significant operation, the Gurugram Police arrested two men on robbery charges. On February 2, the police received a complaint from a truck driver at the Sector-7 IMT Manesar Police Station. The complainant reported that on the night of February 11-12, he was parked at Sector-3 IMT Manesar with 13 tonnes of metal sheets in his truck when one of the suspects attempted to steal his vehicle. The situation escalated when other accomplices arrived, held the driver hostage, and drove off with the truck and the metal sheets. The accused later abandoned the driver on the roadside.

Following the complaint, a case was registered under the relevant sections at the Sector-7 IMT Manesar Police Station. The Farukhnagar Crime Branch team arrested the two suspects, Tarun and Kulwinder Singh, from the Bypass Road. During questioning, they admitted to committing multiple thefts and robberies, including two incidents of theft and snatching in Punjab, and one robbery in Gurugram. Police records show that Tarun has two cases in Jhajjar, including murder and theft, and has also been involved in multiple theft and robbery cases in Gurugram and Faridabad.

Authorities recovered 14 boxes of metal sheets, valued at Rs18 lakh, along with the stolen truck from the two suspects.
