The murders of two young men over seemingly minor disputes shook Gujarat, with police arresting one person in Dindoli and four in Kapodra.
Dindoli Case:
32-year-old Umashankar Singh, a resident of Radhakrishna Nagar Society, was allegedly attacked by friends Anshu and Dillu Yadav after making a remark about Anshu’s wife. On Thursday around 1:30 am, Singh informed his wife, Ruchi, that he would be late as a quarrel had erupted among friends near Mansi Residency.
When Singh did not return, Ruchi asked his friend to check, and he was admitted to SMIMER Hospital with injuries from blunt weapons. Singh later succumbed to his injuries. Police have arrested Anshu, while Dillu Yadav remains at large.
Kapodra Case:
In the Kapodra area, Mangal Yadav alias Baarik was attacked near Ravani Factory after an old grudge led to a confrontation with Tarak Mangukiya and Jaivin Sabhadiya. The fight escalated when Mangukiya started recording a video, prompting a violent clash.
During the altercation, Rahul Navadiya stabbed Nitin Chavda and Himmat Hadiya, while Mangukiya, Sabhadiya, and Yagnik Joshi restrained Mangal Yadav as Navadiya stabbed him repeatedly. Yadav was taken to SMIMER Hospital, where he died.
Police have arrested all four accused: Mangukiya, Sabhadiya, Navadiya, and Joshi.
