Gregory Grant Pleads Guilty to Methamphetamine Trafficking in New Haven

New Haven Man Involved in Distribution of 79 Packages of Meth

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Gregory Grant, a 34-year-old New Haven man, pleaded guilty on Wednesday to his involvement in a methamphetamine trafficking operation, according to the Department of Justice.

Between January 2022 and March 2024, Grant received approximately 79 parcels from Georgia, which contained methamphetamine pills. Authorities intercepted one of these shipments in January 2023 and discovered over four kilograms of methamphetamine pills hidden in the packages.

Grant’s co-conspirator, 33-year-old Tyrone Brown from Lithonia, Georgia, has been charged by indictment, and law enforcement is actively seeking his arrest.

Grant pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine. He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 11.
