Delaware State Police have arrested 65-year-old Gregory Collins from Wilmington in connection with a robbery at Citizens Bank. The robbery occurred on January 4, 2025, at approximately 10:05 a.m. when a suspect, later identified as Collins, approached a bank teller and demanded money while brandishing an unknown object through his shirt in a threatening manner.

The employee complied with the demand, and the suspect fled the scene in a blue Mitsubishi Outlander. Authorities quickly responded, and through investigation, troopers located Collins at a motel in New Castle. Collins was taken into custody without incident.

A review of surveillance footage from the bank confirmed Collins as the suspect. Collins was charged with robbery and was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11. He was then committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $60,000 secured bond.
