GREECE, N.Y. — Monroe County deputies say the owners of Rochester Jewelry and Tek were arrested after allegedly trafficking more than $100,000 in stolen property.

On Nov. 5, deputies, along with the Greece Police Department, executed a search warrant at the Mount Read Boulevard shop. Authorities seized 1,869 stolen items with a retail value exceeding $65,000.

Seized merchandise included power tools, hand tools, office equipment, automotive accessories, hardware items, small appliances, and other goods. Deputies also recovered illegal prescription drugs packaged for resale.

Investigators allege that 42-year-old Juan Diaz and 33-year-old Tolga Turmen accepted stolen items from various retailers, paid a fraction of their retail value, and resold them for profit.

Diaz and Turmen were charged with criminal possession of stolen property, falsifying business records, conspiracy, money laundering, and drug-related offenses. Both were arraigned and released without bail.
