Grace Kelley, 28, daughter of country music star Wynonna Judd, has been arrested again, this time in connection with the theft of a church van in Albemarle County, Virginia. Kelley faces three felony counts of grand larceny for the incident, which occurred on October 27, 2024.
The van, owned by Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene, was used to transport members of the congregation and haul essential equipment for Sunday services. Lead Pastor Kent Hart shared on a GoFundMe page that the van was severely damaged during the theft and has been deemed a total loss by the insurance company after a body shop inspection. The church has raised nearly $2,900 for a replacement vehicle as of December 2.
Pastor Hart also mentioned that Kelley is in police custody and expressed forgiveness on behalf of the church, stating, “We have forgiven Grace Kelley.”
This is not Kelley’s first run-in with the law. Earlier in the year, she was arrested in Alabama for allegedly exposing herself along a busy highway and refusing to comply with law enforcement officers. Later, she faced additional charges in Georgia, including fleeing from an officer and driving with a suspended license.
Wynonna Judd, 60, shares Grace and her son Elijah Judd, 29, with ex-husband Arch Kelley III. Though Judd has not publicly commented on her daughter’s latest arrest, she and her ex-husband divorced in the late 1990s. Judd remarried in 2012 to Cactus Moser.
