Mumbai police have arrested three men for allegedly breaking into an apartment in Goregaon East and looting ornaments worth Rs 2.5 lakh.
The break-in occurred on January 18 at an apartment in Aarey Colony. After registering an FIR, a police team led by Senior Inspector Ravindra Patil reviewed CCTV footage and activated informants to track the suspects.
Accused Arrested
The arrested individuals are:
Anil Jimbal alias Albert (23)
Abdul Rafiq Ansari alias Appu Khota (29) – repeat offender with 40 prior offences
Stalin Kaunder (29) – repeat offender with 20 prior offences
The trio was apprehended after being traced through CCTV and informants’ networks. Police said investigations are ongoing to determine if they were involved in other burglaries in the area.
