The Balanagar police have arrested a duo in connection with a Rs4 lakh theft from an office at Liftstrade Private Limited in the Industrial Development Area (IDA), Balanagar.
The accused have been identified as Gonigunta Vamsi Krishna, 32, a cab driver, and Matta Bharath Rajiv Gandhi, 23, a bike mechanic. Both hail from Allwyn Colony in Andhra Pradesh.
The police investigation revealed that the two allegedly stole Rs4 lakh from the office premises. Further inquiries are ongoing to determine if the accused were involved in any other similar cases in the area.
