Goa Police have arrested two more individuals for impersonating candidates during typing tests for Junior Secretariat Assistant and Junior Stenographer posts at CSIR-NIO, Dona Paula.

On July 15, Sonu Kumar (25) from Bihar was caught posing as another candidate, followed by the arrest of Sunil (29) from Haryana on July 16 for attempting a similar act. Both suspects have been booked under Sections 242 and 319 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

These arrests come a day after two persons from Uttar Pradesh were also apprehended for impersonating candidates in the same examination.

The police have intensified their efforts to prevent such fraudulent activities during government job recruitments.
