TUPELO, Miss. — A Saltillo man has been arrested in connection with the theft of multiple sets of tires and wheels from a Tupelo business earlier this year.
The incident occurred on April 30 at R and R Tire Express, located at 1401 West Main Street, where four sets of tires and wheels were reported stolen.
After an investigation, Tupelo police arrested Gerry D. Scruggs, 63, of Saltillo, on August 31. He has been charged with one count of grand larceny.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Sumner set Scruggs’ bond at $20,000 during a hearing on September 2. The case will be presented to the Lee County grand jury for further action.
