COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) — A man connected to a string of thefts in Lowndes County was arrested Wednesday after a police pursuit, according to the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.
Gerry Dailey, 56, was taken into custody following the chase. Investigators say he is tied to multiple thefts and attempted thefts across the county.
In addition to being charged in those cases, Dailey also faces drug possession, grand larceny-related charges, and several traffic violations.
Authorities have not yet released further details about the specific incidents or what was recovered during the arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
