A team from Geetanagar Police Station apprehended a suspected thief after recovering stolen steel water pipes and burglary tools during a city operation.
The accused has been identified as Anowar Ali, a resident of Bhaskarnagar. Police intercepted him and recovered the stolen pipes along with a hexa blade and a screwdriver, tools believed to have been used in executing the theft.
Authorities have confirmed that the suspect is now in custody, and legal action has been initiated. The operation highlights the police’s ongoing efforts to prevent thefts and ensure public safety in the area.
