Gainesville Man Arrested for Selling and Trafficking Cocaine

Arturo Jaimes-Pimentel Arrested After Selling Nearly 196 Grams of Cocaine

A Gainesville man was arrested on February 7 after allegedly selling nearly 196 grams of cocaine to an undercover investigator at his residence on Willow Ridge Circle Southwest.

Arturo Jaimes-Pimentel, 46, was taken into custody by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Special Investigations Unit. Following the transaction, investigators obtained a search warrant for Jaimes-Pimentel’s home, where they found an additional 27 grams of cocaine, bringing the total to approximately 223 grams. The street value of the cocaine is estimated to be around $22,300.

Jaimes-Pimentel faces charges including the sale of cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine. He is currently being held in the Hall County Jail without bond, with an immigration hold placed on him by authorities.

The investigation remains ongoing as law enforcement continues to address narcotics activity in the area.
