Gagan Say Arrested for Murder of Vegetable Vendor

Dispute over Rs40,000 loan led to fatal attack

A man named Gagan Say from Tileimalti village was arrested by the Dharuadih police on Tuesday for allegedly killing a vegetable vendor over a financial dispute involving Rs40,000.

The victim, Sunil Sunani (45), a vendor from Bandhubahal, had reportedly lent Rs40,000 to the accused’s uncle. Police say the dispute escalated, leading to Sunani’s murder.

Gagan was taken into custody shortly after the incident. Authorities are investigating whether the attack was premeditated and if others were involved.
