Gabriela Ochoa, Adrian Rangel Arrested in Odessa Theft Attempt

Suspects caught stealing ATV and go-karts from Tractor Supply

ODESSA, Texas — Two Midland County residents were arrested early on November 7, 2025, following an attempted theft at the Tractor Supply store in Odessa, according to the Odessa Police Department.

Officers responded to an alarm and discovered the suspects loading stolen go-karts and an ATV into a truck. The suspects, identified as 35-year-old Gabriela Ochoa and 34-year-old Adrian Rangel, tried to flee but were quickly apprehended.

A search of their vehicle turned up marijuana and a handgun, police said. Investigators later learned that both suspects had outstanding warrants for theft over $2,500 in Midland County.

Ochoa and Rangel are each charged with:

Theft – State Jail Felony

Criminal Mischief – Class B Misdemeanor

Possession of Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor

Additionally, Rangel faces a Class A Misdemeanor charge for Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.

The Odessa Police Department thanked the Ector County Sheriff’s Office for assisting in the arrests.
